I just love the atmosphere of this place. I have been in and out of this place as a kid in the 80s. I moved away and a friend suggested we get pizza. As soon as we headed into Downtown the memories came back and I knew where we were going. Our waitress was kind and attentive. all you can ask for when eating out!
I haven't gone in a long while but decided to go after an Akron Rubber Ducks game, and it was worth it. Firstly, BRING CASH! This is a NO CREDIT Italian joint. Where Luigi's really excels is in their (pizza) sauce. It's so good I'd probably ask for extra sauce next time. The pepperoni pizza might have been a little scant on the topping, but thr flavor is so good that it can easily be forgiven, imo. However, they do give you a lot of cheese... Great place for a date or late night pizza craving. From food to service, 5/5.
The staff was friendly and attentive. The pizza is reasonably priced. The salad comes with a ton of cheese. The pizza was a tad salty but only certain bites. (Hoping that was just a bad batch of pizza and not the norm)
