R.I.P. Luigi's. A Concord legend has died. Been coming here for over 40 years. Will not go back. Went in to get lunch with the family and the place looks like they are out of business. No sodas in the fridges. A couple salads in the counter cooler. They guy ordering in front of us was told several times when he was trying to order that they were out of the items he was ordering. Ended up walking out and going down Clayton Rd. to Parma's. They were totally stocked and had great sandwiches and salads.
Been coming here for past 5 years this was extremely disappointing when I arrived to notice that the counters where different varieties of prepare deli assortment pastas or sweet items besides only getting the sandwiches it was very empty. The staff seemed very disappointed to be there and had close early. an they were out of many different produce items and out of chips or drinks weren't available. The quality was not the same as before I won't be going back as this . Place has took a wrong turn for the worst. Its definitely not the same fresh products. It's unfortunate that after the change in the ownership it made it worse not going back I prefer elsewhere an again the people there weren't happy with being there. Kept leaving outside while they had people unsatisfied
Stopped in yesterday for a bite. First time. Staff are nice. But service was really slow. There was also no one there, so I’m wondering why it took so long to get served. On top of that, they had run out of so many ingredients, I didn’t know what I was getting in the end. - Fridges were empty. So either they’re ordering less than what they need, or they had a great weekend, and completely sold out about their supplies.
