Decided to finally give this place a try, because since I've moved here to Santa Ana, I've always heard that "ITS SOOO GOOD." So we went & ordered burgers, 2 Bacon Cheeseburgers & a regular Cheeseburger & 2 orders of onion rings & small fries. Total came out to $42 So we finally get home to dig in & it was such a disappointment. We thought they were gonna be off the hook, juicy burgers but they were just a-ok... kinda dry. I'd rather stick to our go to spot in Westminster, HARRYS PLACE. We did enjoy the fries, but our first time going is gonna definitely be our last.
HACK FRAUDS. I was a DAILY customer to Lucky Guys Burgers for over a decade back in 2003-2013 and they USED to be a 5 Star Operation. The Owner/Manager Frank and his son John used to keep a clean ship and disciplined crew. When I ordered a steak salad for 13.99 I got a steak salad for 13.99. Skip to CURRENT YEAR: Frank and John are gone with some new guy who STOLE the name saying he "Owned this place the whole time" obviously lying because Frank used to have the business license posted on the window with his long last name on it. The staff HATE the customers. HATE WITH A PASSION. The menu was changed up and the entire formula has gone to garbage. They gave me SOUR and SPOILED ranch dressing, overcooked LEATHER steak, and WILTED ROTTEN lettuce. I went through the drive through and I was 10 miles away at that point! Don't waste your money here.
Food was very good yet the service was not as they didn't want to give us more than 1 cup of ice water or allow my friend who got sick after finishing about half of his fries that had carne asada & avacado on it (which btw, was delicious!) He even asked since his dish was around $10, if he could just gt another shake since he couldn't even eat half of his plate before getting nauseous, but unfortunately they wouldn't even offer him another shake. No bueno ????
