Expensive and nothing special. Kids’ chicken fingers and burger and fries were very dry and too deep fried. They charges us for a black coffee refill without the heads up. The waiter was very busy and stressed out. Won’t be coming back soon.
We always used to get takeout from here, notably the vodka pasta (cavatelli in vodka cream sauce) which is an 11 out of 10. Wish we had tried dining in more often. April 2023. Ate in the dining room and it went from 5 to 4 stars for me. The grilled calamari was good but it is a huge portion and tastes off. The bruschetta is also kind of odd. Took forever to get our food and my 2nd drink. Also the high top tables and chairs are extremely uncomfortable and the place is super busy with people coming in and getting takeout or waiting for a table. Sitting in the main dining room is not a great experience. The restrooms are also tiny.
I ordered grilled calamari, not over breaded. Besides the breading, it tastes so cheap and salty. $14 for this is not cheap. Terrible taste. Not sure why everyone is leaving amazing reviews. Should I let you know what the sauce tastes like? Just avoid this place. To the owner's response: Why does it matter if my name is there or not? That's the professional response you give? Whoever is making your "handmade" calamari should be ashamed of themselves.
