Impressive Vietnamese food in downtown portland. I would not say It's quite traditional. More on the modern style of vietnamese food. Fresh, great portions, well cooked, and the service was friendly. A few local craft brews are available. There is a to go window which I used. It's very fast and efficient if you are in a hurry or not feeling social.
I was recommended this spot by some friends and it absolutely didn't disappoint. The smell of this restaurant from several buildings down was like a siren's call to me, bringing me in. It was busy, so be mindful that a wait is expected, but the wait is worth it. Friendly staff greeted us and got our order taken. There aren't many options but you don't need a huge menu to get expertly crafted goods. I ordered the luc lac and a cocktail that blew my mind. I will absolutely be going back here again. Great for a date night spot!
Really impressed, was visiting Portland from out of town and visited during the lunch rush during the week. Service was still super quick, even with a line out the door. I got my curry two out of four stars and it was the perfect level. I would definitely return here. … More
