First, I want to start by giving a shoutout to the manager on duty on 6/17/23 as well as all the staff working the evening shift (10:00pm +) they were so pleasant and professional, even at that late hour, you all truly make a difference. Now, onto the food, my musts are: escargot, duck confit, the amazing mushroom risotto, the potato gratin, and the dessert of the month. It was a party in my mouth, I loved the freshness of the ingredients and how well balanced the dishes were. Drinks: For the first time in a while I was glad I skipped the wine. One of the featured cocktails, the tomatini was just mind-blowing. I’m not usually into tomato based drinks, but wow. We also tried other cognac-based beverages and they were just as delicious. Our favorite was Hom(m)ge. It gets a little loud inside, but it’s normal, it’s a busy place. You can request to sit outside. We loved the food and the staff, worth the price.
Second time visiting this restaurant. First time was 3 years ago. Brought my sister for belated 50th birthday. Food was excellent just as I remembered. What is distinct are the large yellow lemons and ripe vinegar tomatoes sitting on the table for guests to cut and prepare a tomatoe salad with or without the bread the server brings. Only disappointment is they only offer one small slice of bread and had to ask server to return 3 times. Why not ask guests if they would like 1 or 2 slices? Other than that the food and service were excellent . Different servers for bread, water and for your meal and the sommelier. Very attentive in ensuring our wine and water glasses were filled. For the meal the favorite was escargot and sea bass croquettes. The ribeye and dessert all very good. French wine. Thoroughly enjoyable.
The food was immaculate. There is such attentionto detail for each item on the menu. From the hint of nutmeg in the potato gratin to the freshness and quality of the ribeye and lamb chops, there’s no shortage of excellence. The escargot was amazing and a must try. The cocktails are beautifully crafted and so delicious (we got the Trinity and Be Our Guest). Our waiter was incredibly knowledgeable about the menu as well as LPM as a whole. The dining experience was one of the best I’ve ever experienced. We will definitely be coming back!
