I’m writing this because I’m not sure how it got all these good reviews maybe it used to be under different ownership/chef/I don’t know. Overpriced and horrible. They put those soup noodles on the table as an appetizer. The table is sticky. We were embarrassed to bring our Mom here. The good reviews are lying. The service was very good no fault on them.
I was in the area with my daughter and saw that Lotus had some great reviews, so even though it looked very plain from the outside, we went in and tried it out. Our server came to our table quickly and brought us hot tea we requested, that was complimentary, and very good! We shared the pan fried dumplings and honey garlic chicken with egg roll and fried rice. We both agreed that everything was delicious! The sauce for the perfectly fried white meat chicken was hot, and pretty tasty. We really liked the dumplings that were also hot and a perfect mixture of crunchy and chewy. The eggroll was hot, crunchy and delicious too. We were very happy with our choice and would definitely go back. My only suggestion would be to improve the decor in the dining room, it needs Chinese artwork or other decorations, I also love when I'm eating at an ethnic place that plays their cultural music, to me that adds to the whole experience, so that would be good. I gave 5 stars because we went for the food,
A great place with delicious New York China town level food. The owner was kind, welcoming and the place is clean with lots of parking. The best Chinese fried rice and amazing crispy beef! Crab Rangoon had the perfect texture and flavor without being overly filled so easy to eat without making a mess. Worth the drive from Boca.
