Los Generales Mexican Restaurant

A friend and I went to just have a quick margarita. When we got our drinks the margaritas tasted sour as if the mixer went bad or was expired. It had a very weird and nasty taste. When we told our waiter about it he said that he just made it that Day and tasted it himself and they were fine and that it was low in alcohol and had agave sugar. We explained that it tasted really weird soWe asked if he can change it for a sangria, to add alcohol to it or to take it off the bill. He refused all three options. He removed one of drinks from three table and left us. We still had our food and he didn't even offer us a water. He ended up removing the drinks from the bill but we were upset on how he handled the situation basically saying that we were wrong and just left us flat without at least a water. I usually tip extremely well everywhere I go. But I saw that he already added a tip of 20% to the bill on his own so I didn't tip additional. The appetizers that my friend and I had was delicious

If you are looking for a good and affordable Mexican place that opens until late, this is your best option. Their food tastes very authentic and a lot of options to choose from. They have vegetarian options too and portions, in my opinion, are fair. I’m only giving them 4 stars because their cocktails and mixed drinks can definitely be better and the restaurant’s dining area looks a bit outdated. But since their staff is friendly and they also have Mexican sodas that are always a great go to, this has become my first option for when I’m craving something good and filling. Definitely recommended!

I love the chicken smothered with chorizo and cheese. The quality is always consistent and the service is always friendly.
