Los Arcos Mexican Restaurant

I’ve been coming to Los Arcos for many years and it’s always been wonderful - delicious breakfast and lunch plates, great service, friendly atmosphere. However, I went there today for lunch - everything looked the same except none of the previous waiters/cashiers were there. We ordered and the menu looked much the same but when the food came, one of the orders was wrong (ordered a chicken enchilada plate and got a cheese enchilada plate instead) and it took 10 minutes to fix the mistake. There were only 2 tables in the restaurant at the time. In addition to a wrong order, the food is nothing like it had been a year or so ago, in the past it had been top notch Tex Mex. Now the food is nearly tasteless, the cheese enchiladas weren’t good at all, no chili con carne, looks like they used street taco tortillas (the enchiladas were tiny), the plates themselves were child sized and the food in general wasn’t satisfying at all. We were terribly disappointed and won’t be going back. New owners

***Update*** I came back and ordered the plate I originally wanted. I will tell you that I was greeted with kindness as I walked in the door. Felt like family. Water took seconds to get refilled, and the food was wonderfully tasteful. The pork chop had such great taste I was happy. I was hungry but had to rewrite this review, because the food was so tasty. I applaud the cook on his cooking. I had an amazing experience here and I recommend this place. Your taste buds will thank you! ----------------------------------------------- It would have been 5 stars but cheese was melted and they didn't have a plate I wanted that was on the front window. The food was good, but I'm usually upbeat. I'd say it's still a good restaurant to eat at, but the vibe can be changed to enhance my experience here. All in all if your hungry and can't find somewhere else to eat, this place is a decent place to consider. I couldn't find anything around the area so that's why I popped up here. Let me know what yo
