LongHorn Steakhouse

Excellent food and excellent service for the most part. One steak was cooked as requested, but the other was well done instead of medium well. The steak and shrimp were both flavorful. The mashed potatoes were better than expected. The broccoli, I would pass on next time. Fries were hot, crispy, and seasoned. The waitress was polite and great, but we felt a bit rushed to get out. This may be because they were starting to get busy but we weren't even done eating by the time we felt they just wanted us out. No dessert or coffee offered, just the check before we were done. Parking: Plenty of parking available. Wheelchair accessibility: Not very wheelchair accessible.

Noisy joint on Friday but thats how it is some times. Steak house with the usual cowboy motifs minus the annoyance of peanut shells everywhere. Small menu which is good, keeps away food option glut. Bread was pretty meh, however I didn't go there for bread, I went there for steak so I'm not going to judge them on their ~bakery~ skills. Alcoholic drinks are tasty and priced well enough. Buying the large versions of the drinks is well worth it and you get like 3 drinks out of it. Steak was so good it didn't even need sauce, good classic Strip cooked to the right temp all the way through. Salmon is glazed in an Asian style sauce and cooked well, as was the crusted chicken. Brussel sprouts were lovely, meaty, and just slightly sweet. Sweet potato was cooked correctly and only needed the butter. Seriously don't put sugar on the thing it's a SWEET potato. Broccoli was meh and slightly dry, seemed to not be on their watch list for QCon. The 'Chocolate Stampede' is good enough for 5 people and

Second time as good as first. Super wait staff food is always hot and fresh. Again had steak a filet this time was great done right and tasty with the sautéed mushrooms. Also tried their fried mushrooms and fried pickles both were great. Seems they maintain their fryers properly as no cross flavors or smells just awesome mushrooms.
