Long John Silver's

This was a nostalgic experience for me, I'm not often in a place where theres Long John's, however I was in California and felt like rekindling my youth. It has been more than 20 years since I last had this fare. Had the fish and shrimp combo. The slaw was delicious. The fries were good. The fish was ok, it wasnt fried from raw I can tell you that, however it was good, crispy and perfect amount of coating. The shrimp were also ok, crispy but also not really fresh. They include these fried salty bits which was a nice touch. The tartar was good, the ketchup is not branded ketchup. Overall for only having to wait 5 mins, you get what you get. I would be back, for a quick on the go spot, its good. Good price.

Good food at a great price. The coleslaw was good and crispy. The battered fish, light and crunchy. Excellent service and the place was really clean.

I recently visited Long John Silver's located on Stockton blvd. in South Sacramento, and I must say, it was a delightful experience. The highlight of my visit was undoubtedly the fry cod. The fish was perfectly cooked, crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. The portion size was generous and left me feeling satisfied. The location itself is convenient, with ample parking available. The restaurant's interior was clean. If you're craving some quality fish and chips, I highly recommend paying a visit to this location.
