Absolutely phenomenal experience today. The gentleman taking my order in the drive-thru was very professional, patient, and polite. The lady that gave me my food asked if I wanted sauce, which I'm glad she did because I almost forgot to ask for malt vinegar. The food was very fresh and tasted just like I remember when I was younger. Thank you so much!
The fish, hush puppies and the coleslaw were good. The price since I was last there, has gone up considerably. Especially considering they don't even serve fries (chips) with the meal anymore. Which I thought was kind of sad, since it's supposed to be a FISH AND CHIPS restaurant.
And all I could say is "Long John Silver's, I drove up from Napa for Long John Silver's" My pal Stinky Wedemeyer moved up to North Highlands recently and has been bragging about this fabulous fish house restaurant near his house, each week he calls me to tell me what he ordered and how great the food was. Well, the tenth time was enough for me so I made the drive up to Stinky's house and let him make the dinner arrangements. Stinky did just that, he went through the drive through at the Long John Silver's and brought back fish and chips! There's no going out to eat with Stinky, because if there's a drive through, it's utilized! To be honest I expecting a nice sitdown restaurant with tablecloths and waiters and perhaps a glass of wine with my Chilean sea bass, but the food from Long John Silver's was pretty good. ☆☆☆☆☆
