We had the beer batter cod, coleslaw, and onion rings. It all tasted good, but neither of us tasted a bit of beer in the batter. It had a slight spiciness though. The coleslaw was good but a bit too sweet for both of us. The onion rings were tasty.

The food was awful! We waited awhile for our food and the place wasn’t busy. Ordered shrimp scampi, broccoli and hush puppies. The hush puppies arrived old and cold. I only ate a half of one. I sent the broccoli back twice and it was quick zapped and jar as a rock and did not retain any of the heat. The shrimp scampi was just cold boiled shrimp on noodles. No scampi sauce. The floor manager and server tried to debate the issue by saying it’s not traditional scampi. Uh… then change it on the menu to boiled shrimp and pasta. The scampi IS the sauce. Then the issue got reverted to issues with kitchen staff when the manager is not there. It has a good atmosphere, but stick to drinks and appetizers.
