Lola's Cafe

My college age son loves this place. I see why. My icelandic sandwich with lox, dill seasoned egg salad on artisan sourdough was delicious and original for South OC. He loved his breakfast burrito. My lavender coffee was too subtle for me, but the barista happily provided the extra lavender shots it needed. Pastry items were very fresh, unique and delicious. I had a mini citrus cake, gluten free which I can't wait to have again. Nice coffee cafe vibe with great outdoor seating. Looking forward to returning.

It is a very nice place and they have great food and coffee. But my last few experiences have definitely made me reevaluate this place. The only reason I’m giving it 3 stars is a several things. Customer service is kinda a hit or miss. There are times the employees are super kind and awesome. But the last time I went I was standing there waiting and the guy behind the counter was just standing there, talking to another employee doing nothing. And he didn’t really acknowledge I was there. It took a few minutes for someone to ask me if I’ve been helped. So it was kinda a bit of a turn off. Wait times can be pretty crazy on weekends. Sometimes waiting more than 20 minutes for food or drinks depending on the time you go. Nevertheless, that is to be expected on weekends. The last thing is it can be a bit pricey, depending on what your budget is. I did spend $22 on a coffee and sandwich just myself. But again this is all subjective and I do believe people should go check it out and see if th

We went to Lola’s as a large group for breakfast. The service was fast and food was good. There are a lot of tea and coffee options. The outside sitting is quite and nice
