Service was despicable. We dined in on Thursday, September 14th at 9:30pm. The host/waitress was clearly rude to us at first sight. We laughed it off and ignored it; however, it made us uncomfortable to dine. We made assumptions about the underlying problem but we knew it was her own personal problem that undermined our dining experience, which is why I chose to highlight service first. We ordered 2 cocktails, 1 app, and shared an entree. My Fernet and Coke was flat. My friend’s Whiskey + Soda was good. Complimentary bread and butter were tasty. Eat it while it’s hot. The Arancini balls with spicy red sauce was tasty. I really liked the red sauce! The Shrimp Fettuccine Alfredo with spinach pasta good and fresh. The shrimp was disgusting—extra small and soggy texture. I would have preferred 5-7 big shrimp instead of 2 dozen little shrimp. I just ate the pasta. The black pepper on the table was low-quality and not freshly ground. I like the design and decor. It’s nice that it’s open late
UPDATE 2: we have gotten sick from their food twice and they have messed up every pick up order. UPDATE: They remodeled and it has a modern open decor that really brings out the best in the restaurant. Food is still amazing. I love the Toni's pizza. I get everything AND the kitchen sink on it. So yummy! Only Costco pizza can compete. The fettuccini Alfredo with chicken is delicious and creamy
We’ve been coming here prior to to COVID, and during COVID times, we haven’t been since May, and we’ve realized how different the dough and cheeses are to the pizza and calzone. At first we thought it was just the small pizza we ordered, so we order a calzone, and the texture of the crust and cheese from the calzone was disappointing. Consistency is key at restaurants and it’s disappointing this ones has changed as well.
