Little Bear

This is a great little spot with some really unique small plates which feature a wide variety of interesting spices and aromatics. There's definitely a theme of sour flavors complimented by the likes of mint or lemongrass on many of their dishes. Food was overall quite tasty and certainly unique, and a great choice if you're open-minded. Drinks fell into the same category and it was nice to have a cocktail that was refreshing while not overtly sweet for once.

A very small but very cool restaurant. The staff is excellent the menu is fun and the food is good. The food is pretty complex and has layers throughout each bite. I can't express enough the uniqueness and creativity in the dishes. For instance there is a corn chocolate cake dessert. Definitely stop in if you're an adventurous eater.

I can't say enough great things about Little Bear. I've been meaning to visit for a while on the recommendation of several friends and finally made it down. Cool and comfy vibe in an intimate space. Service was great, food was stellar. Standouts were the chix liver custard, pastrami chicken, and beef with congee. We tried everything on the "Savory" menu minus one dish. Perfectly cooked dishes with bright sauces and fresh herbs. Great, local beer from Halfway Crooks on tap as well. Highly recommended.
