Stopped in for the first time Monday after Easter. Stayed local at a hotel in Lititz and wanted Penn Dutch cuisine. Didn't want to drive 30+ mins at the bigger known restaurants so we tried it. Sadly it was the last Monday they will be open due to staffing and they did not offer their buffet. However we ordered entre from the menu. It didn't disappoint. Had the meatloaf and the chicken croquets. Both were fantastic. The waitress was very nice and polite. The entre size was huge at such a reasonable price. So good we came back the next day for an early dinner. Buffet selection is small compared to other smorgasbords. Again very delish. Beef tips, ham, roasted chicken, salsbury steaks, and a ton of side options. The beef tips were the favorite.
Nice wholesome family owned place. Friendly waitress. I’ve been coming here for years. Breakfast was good but cold but these things do happen. At least they had a staff to keep the restaurant open compared to a few others in the area that can’t seem to keep a staff. I do recommend eating here. It’s comfortable and very friendly and there is available parking in the lot.
Nice place, small and comfortable, buffet was good, salad bar & soup were fresh, small selection of entrees but all very good. Of course the desserts were yummy! Staff friendly & helpful. Will return when in the area.
