Limericks Tavern - Alhambra

This place great for a little place for a drink or a bite, or both. Staff is friendly and attentive so it's a sensible choice on either side of going to see a flick... nearby. Jalapeño poppers were quite good; impressively hot to the touch so take care, but taste heat was on the mild side. The onion rings were amazing!! One of the best I've ever had, so worth returning when in the mood for them since the other places are beyond inconvenient, like sadly closed... for reasons other than quality and were far too. So, it's nice to find the next place to remember for something.

Ordered the W burger for $18 med rare. It came as ordered but the garlic sauce had too much mayo and lacked kick. I requested hotsauce, mixed it in and made it work. The beef was HQ with resonant texture. Bun was basic but above average quality. Fries were soft but crispy which I prefer over an assortment of over cooked potatoe. Service was prompt and attentive. Atmosphere was solid, clean, bright & appropriate in volume (rams game was on). I would come back here if given the option.

If you’re in the Alhambra area, check out Limericks Tavern on Main St. They’ve got some of the crunchiest and yummiest appetizers that would be perfect pairings with a cold beverage ???? (if you know what I mean). And if you want a larger portion, choose one of their signature burgers ???? and entrees. ☘️ for our visit, we tried their famous appetizers: the Irish Nachos ???? & Chix-Charrones. Omg ???? they’re super yummy. Definitely a must-order if you visit Limericks Tavern. We also enjoy the burger ???? and corned beef ????. Next time we come back, we wanna try the spicy chicken sliders and the fish & chips ????. If you order them, let us know what you think ????.
