This is hands down the best soul food you can find in the Bay Area. Everything on the menu is amazing. The best meal choices are the two meat combos - each one looks better than the last. Do try the fried chicken, the sweet tea, and a ghetto purple Gatorade mimosa. You can't go wrong by including some of those in your meal choice. I have my eye on the chicken and waffles, and will be coming back for more very soon.
Definitely 5-star soul food Fried Chicken and Waffles. for whatever reason they had to move to another location which makes it a little harder to get to now. The staff are super Hometown friendly for being such a big city. I know Hometown friendliness because I came from a nowhere USA town.
They're Baaaack! Use the web site to order the food and it's still the wonderful tasty BBQ and sides. I'll have to go back and try dessert. They moved closer to where I live, so I'm very happy! Pick up window is behind the main building -- enter the alleyway near the driveway on Kiely or by the furniture store.
