Leo's Mexican Restaurant

Stopped in for a late lunch to try a local favorite. Was immediately met but a smiling face who seated me after asking my preference. Gave me recommendations on the menu, and brought out warm chips and fresh salsa. I decided on the flautas for my meal and was not surprised when they arrived crispy with a side of guacamole so fresh there were still chunks of avocado. I wish I had remembered to leave off the lettuce, the only mistake I made. So glad I chose Leo's and will return on my next trip to Tucson.

The food was good but the portions are tiny for the price. I asked someone who is a frequent visitor to this establishment about it and he told me a small he doesn’t go away. But I decided to check for myself. The chimichanga was excellent. But it came with about a tablespoon of beans and a little bit of shredded brown lettuce. No salsa no napkins no utensils. Not even a bag.

Such a nice family serving really yummy food! Leo is awesome and his daughter was great! Will definitely go back. This place felt homey!
