Dollar oyster night or any night at Lento is a good night! Reservations needed, the place rocks the town. Plan ahead so you can enjoy their menu of locally sourced cuisine! I had there vegan garam masala. The other 2 dish pictured are their steel head trout with polenta and veggies and their scallop dish. Atmosphere is cozy and staff is warm and welcoming! They even have a gluten free menu to accommodate!
My lamb leg entree was perfectly seasoned and tender. The chanterelles were also amazing. I loved every aspect of the meal and Deja was an attentive and informative server. The wines were very fairly priced and a good list. The pistachio creme brûlée was so-so, but it had a tough act to follow after the starters and entrees.
If you an oyster fan, that’s the place. Unfortunately I’m not, so I didn’t get to enjoy that. My expectations was pretty high since a friend highly recommended this place. The service was great. I’m a picky eater so I struggled on finding something for me to eat at the menu. Don’t get me wrong, they have so many options. They have pretty much all kind of meat BUT cattle. So I ended up with a salad and fries. Salad was and fries a little oily. My husband ordered the Venison Bolognese and said it was really good. I also had the crème brûlée which was regular and husband had the profiteroles. The cookies weren’t crunchy but ice cream was really good. Like I said, I’m a picky eater so you should try before jumping to conclusions from my review.
