Lee's Famous Recipe Chicken

This restaurant is clearly struggling. Staff were shouting at each other and, while I was eating inside, they actually locked the front door hours before closing. The cook came out at one point and grabbed a drink from the soda machine. When I went to grab my drink next, I saw that he'd left flour all over EVERYTHING--the machine, the lids, the straws, the counter. It took about fifteen minutes to order and another twenty to get my food. But I'll say this--the food was mostly delicious. Some of the okra had gone cold, and some of it was burned. But the fried shrimp were absolutely wonderful, the potato wedges were good and well-seasoned, and the biscuit was absolutely heaven. All this for $8. We all make questionable decisions. ????

Not just another chicken place. By far the best service you are going to find from any fast food restaurant in St. Louis. If you are in a hurry and want good service, then it is worth stopping here - even if it is a little out of your way.

Very clean dinning room. Food done in a spicy Louisiana Style. Always a car or two in line for the drive up and at least a couple people dining in. I can see why, food is good, service was top notch, and restaurant was cleaner than most, bar none. I will be eating here again.
