The chicken strips are amazing. The strips are all big and juicy portions. They have a ton of great sides options too. I thought the coleslaw was excellent!!! Overall a ton of food for the money. I can't wait to come back and try something different.
It's carryout only here. I love their fried chicken. Their fried chicken is similar to Kentucky Fried Chicken, but it's better because its consistently less salty, more moist, and fresher than what I typically get from KFC. KFC fried chicken is too salty. Their coleslaw is similar to KFC too, creamy and tangy. Only thing better at KFC is their gravy. They're pretty efficient at keeping line moving when they're busy. Staff seems friendly and hardworking, opposite what you see at typical Popeye's Chicken. I used to regularly buy fried chicken from Popeye's, but I soon stopped after discovering Lee's.
I'm not a big chicken fan. So for me getting chicken isn't taking lightly. I've had Lee's before but never really gave much thought to it. Today I was fortunate to have lunch bought for me. Since I didn't pay for it I didn't get to pick. The menu has a good selection chicken selection. Regardless if you like it with bones in of even fingers. Lee's has you covered. On top of being a purveyor of the feathered wonders they also have a good selection of sides. Many are traditional standbys for chicken. Mash potatoes, bake beans, macaroni and cheese and of course corn on the cob. You can even get a side of tasty coleslaw. Can't ask for much more! Getcha some soon!
