We ventured over to Lee Kong’s Chinese on Port Road Saturday night. The staff was friendly and courteous. The establishment appeared clean and organized. Our order consisted of 2egg tolls (chicken and veggie) chicken fried rice, kung pao chicken (KPC) & General Yao’s chicken. We asked that the KPC not have bamboo shoots and a side of hot pepper oil. They met both requests for the KPC. Lastly, we ordered online and picked it up in ~15 minutes. All of the meals were quite tasty and warm. We look forward to returning and hope folks will give this restaurant a try.
Had shrimp fried rice, chicken, and pork egg roll. Ordered take out. Food was kind of bland. The sweet and sour sauce didn’t help. Ordered after 3:30 p.m. server was nice.
Not everything is made to order. Popular dishes are made in advance and kept in steam tables,then scooped out when you order it.We had several entrees and they all tasted good though.Not heavy on flavor or spice,more like typical buffet fare. Overall I would eat here again.
