Was seated at the chef's table and it was a lot of fun. A few courses were good, a couple were exceptional. Personally I only return for exceptional cause I often prefer my own cooking and the cost of eating out needs to be justified. If I wasn't at the chef's table, I would have rated my experience a 4.5/5.
Le Pigeon is excellent. I celebrated my birthday here and it was a great experience. We booked the Chef's counter seating after reading numerous reviews recommending it and it definitely adds to the experience seeing your food prepped by the wonderfully talented Chef's right in front of you. They are at it all evening firing appetizers to main dishes non-stop which is very impressive to witness. Being a Vegetarian, I got the Vegetarian tasting menu and my Partner ordered their regular menu. The food is scrumptious starting from the first appetizer dish all the way to the desserts. It's a well balanced yet flavorful combination of different ingredients and every dish packs a punch! We loved our experience at Le Pigeon and are looking forward to visiting again. Highly recommend reserving more than a week in advance to get your preferred day, time and seating options. We saw quite a few people try to walk-in but the place is fully sold out almost every day and they don't accept walk-ins.
We dined here almost a year ago and loved it. Now a year later it's still just as good as we remember. We had the vegetarian tasting menu which started a bit slow, but built up to a great entree and one of the best desserts we've ever had. Hats off. We will definitely be back.
