Le Bistro

For those who appreciate a true gourmet experience, Le Bistro should rise to the top of your “must do” list. They provide a sincerely excellent menu designed by a world-class chef. The service team is of equally exceptional caliber, and the environment will leave you craving your next visit. There aren’t words or review stars sufficient to describe this outstanding local restaurant, and you will not regret enjoying it for yourself.

Came for the the Beef Wellington and was not disappointed. Two couples shared it as main course. Good portion and perfectly executed. The onion soup as well as the mushroom soup were perfect appetizers. The Crab Cake was really fresh and prepared to order. Nothing looked like frozen or so. The wine list was decent. The only thing is that the Bordeaux deserved better wine glasses. Profiteroles and Creme Brûlée are to die for. It’s one out from where we live but we’ll be back for the unique experience. Cozy ambiance and nice music selection are part of the package. The lady with green framed glasses helped us in such a gorgeous manner. Maybe she’s the owner, I don’t know. Congrats

I have been visiting this area since childhood but only a few years ago did I discover Le Bistro through the show Kitchen Nightmares. I got very curious and finally booked reservations. The meal was impressive. Being a fan of French onion soup I tried the chef's version which is made with duck broth and it was sublime. We made sure to order the beef wellington early and it paid off as we were served the entree almost right after the soup was done. The wellington was delicious and cooked perfectly. Finally I ended my meal with succulent creme brulée and asked if i could meet chef Andy... my request was granted! I even coaxed him away from the hotplate for a selfie!! (sorry Andy and thank you for doing that!) If you like French cuisine with British twist and plan to stay in the area, definitely add Le Bistro to your TODO list! PS: Hello MermaidGrove viewers.
