Law's Restaurant

It took over a week to decide to review this place. I want to believe my visit was an exception to an otherwise fine establishment. It had been ten years since I visited Laws for dinner. Came during happy hour. $1 off all drinks. Had a long Island iced tea however it was very weak in the alcohol department. Strange since there are to be 2.5 shots of alcohol. My niece had a mango margarita created in the same weak state. The calamari appetizer was very good. The beef vegetable soup was 10+. The lobster pasta was full of lobster and was a generous portion. I had the PORKahouse (pork chops cut as a porterhouse) dinner with two vegetables. Green beans and broccoli. Both good. Tasted beer mixed in the cheese sauce covering the broccoli...a pleasant surprise. The chop was tough after the initial edge cuts. It’s been years since we’ve been here! We came for lunch on a Sunday. Things started off great with being seated right away. It took awhile to get drinks after ordered them and it wasn’t too crowded. The food came out fast and was really good. The server disappeared and had to find another server to ask for water refills and condiments. It took a long time to get our bill, again we had to ask another server for our bill and she got our server to come. She returned with charge slip and never seen again! There was error on the bill and we finally decided to let it go as couldn’t find server and we left.
