Latham '76 Diner

I stopped by the diner today with my girlfriend to visit my old friends. I moved out of the area about 15 years ago, and the last time I visited was pre-Covid. This is the first time my gf has been upstate NY and not only was she stunned by the beautiful scenic drive up, she loved every little thing about the 76 diner, from the decor, to the cleanliness, the friendly staff, to the absolute deliciousness and freshness of the food. She seriously now wants us to reconsider buying a home in PA after visiting the 76 diner. She said her lamb chops were the best she’s ever had in her life, cooked to perfection and exquisitely moist and tender. She had a few bites of my Chicken Athenian dish which she said was amazing. She said the broccoli was cooked perfectly like at home, not over cooked and mushy like most restaurants and the mashed potatoes were as tasty and fresh as could be. Breakfast was so good my dad and went back for lunch the next day. Excellent atmosphere, impressive menu and friendly staff.

My husband and I always come to this diner in the early morning hours when we have to pull all-nighters. The service is always on point and the food always delicious. I got the Belgian Waffle with whipped cream and strawberries and my husband got the crispy chicken caesar salad.
