The wost experience ever, we were 5 of us, and my plate was brought to me 25 yes 25 minutes, after everyone else, and one of my companions, order the exact same thing that I did, it's a shame because I honestly loved this place, and look the first thing, i will be receiving would be a manager massage from ownership, just like they did it in their other place in Villa Park, in witch i live 5 minutes away, they will say "Did you tell the manager " in a very mean way, and guess what we did at the moment, but thye couldn't care less, and did nothing, unfortunately for me I will really miss the food, shame though.
I used to love this place. We used to go once a week. Unfortunately the food has changed, and not for good. We recently went and ordered a molcajete Kora. The molcajete was not hot, like it usually is. The food was warm at best. I'm not sure if the molcajete sat there for a while. The molcajete consisted of a small piece of fish, 6 or 7 shrimp, 3 mussels 2 pieces of the thinnest crab legs (not a cluster) and all imitation crab. Please see the photo, so you can see for yourself. I hadn't ordered that in a while but definitely didn't expect to pay $36.99 for a molcajete with 80% imitation crab. I will say the service was good. The waitress was very attentive. The chicharon de pescado was good. Just steer clear of the molcajete.
Clean restaurant, nice layout, plenty of parking. Langostinos were delicious and ceviche is good. A little drier and smaller pieces than the typical recipe most other Mexican Seafood places use but good nonetheless. Great service
