Lantern Vietnamese Restaurant

I went to Haven City and tried the Lantern Vietnamese Restaurant. They had a few vegan options that looked good on the menu and were really tasty when I tried them. I recommend the Vegan Pho and their fried rice with tofu. My order got mixed with another order for the rice tofu dish but it was corrected quickly. Their use of spicy is at a good level where you can add more if needed. The heat level for the soup was lower than other pho dishes that I’ve tried but it was good for me in the sense that I didn’t need anything in the bowl fully cooked since it was vegan. The veggies and tofu were hot enough and I could enjoy the meal faster rather than waiting for it to cool off. They also have traditional meat dishes for others in your group. Enjoy.

Took an elderly couple to lunch and they wanted to treat us, unfortunately the people that worked had no patience for them, they were very rude and I had to hold my tongue because I didn’t want anyone embarrassed. Soup was not hot enough and so I requested for extra soup for the 80 something couple. They charged them an extra $4.95 for this broth….just broth no meat or anything. Our bill came up almost $100.00…. Food was not even that great…will never go back here… a lot more Vietnamese restaurants in the area with better food and attitude…

I recently tried the food here, and I had the spring rolls and vermicelli salad. Both were pretty good. Check this place out.
