Lanning's Restaurant

My husband and I hired a sitter for a fancy date night out at Lanning's. After driving by it hundreds of times, we decided we had to try it. (We did not come prepared with cash for the valet and parked ourselves in a nearby lot - bring cash if you want to use the valet service!) We had the pork belly, which was unbelievable, as the appetizer, steaks were velvety perfect, potatoes were fluffy and soft - but the star of the show was definitely the butter cake. Do not skip the butter cake! It was pricy for one meal but worth it as an occasional special treat. We'll definitely be back!

Came for our anniversary dinner, it was my first time. The service was amazing and the food was perfect. We eat out often (way more than we should) and this was the best date night we have had in over a year. I can't get over how amazing my steak was, perfectly cooked and was like butter. My only complaint is a personal one, I would have liked maybe a seasonal option for a side - brussel sprouts or something of the sort, not a huge baked potato fan but it was definitely cooked nice. This is a very classic steak place - French onion soup, wedge salad, bread service. Drinks are super nice too, but nothing crazy. Parking: Valet was very quick, bring cash.

I went there for the first time on November 5, 2022. I absolutely loved it! Best steak I have ever had and the employees were awesome to deal with. We got there early and went into the bar. The bartender was so much fun to talk to. My husband, daughter, son-in-law, and I had a wonderful time.
