I'm just a fan of this place. They aren't re writing anything about Mexican food, they're (in my opinion) slightly on the americanized side of the American/authentic spectrum, it's just what it is. Just good Mexican based food, with decent generous margaritas, and they aren't afraid to have genuinely hot (spice wise - and I'm a pepper head) dishes.
Nice bar,nice ambiance, excellent ???? the staff was attentive and spot right on. Bringing chips and salsa twice wich they are good and fresh. I would give 4 stars but something was wrong With my plate. I ordered an azteca combination skillet everything was good but 1 item, shrimp was fresh,the chicken was cook to perfection, beans and the big banana Chile oriado to perfection. but the beef was OLD and have a really funky SMELL AND flavor. Been a cook myself I knew once I got the first bite ,I didn't make a fuss because It was my bday and my girlfriend was treating me with the bill. But it was a big No No. SORRY LALOS I WOULDN'T COME BACK . a situation like that is a big error can cause food poisoning.
