Visiting Lager Heads was quite an enjoyable experience. The food was good, the service was good, the view is good, and although you're paying on-the-beach type prices, they aren't ridiculous. My only complaint is that the music was too loud (couldn't converse except to the person immediately next to you and still speaking very loudly).
Lager Heads is a bar first and a restaurant second located in the Virgina Beach Oceanfront area. They offer a decent selection of food and drinks. The restaurant is in a tourist focused area so prices are a bit higher than I would. I had some grilled salmon, some green beans and some fries on the side. The fries were fine and there was a good portion of them. The salmon could have used a bit more seasoning but was serviceable. The green beans were cooked in garlic but were otherwise a bit bland. Overall, the experience was fine but I do think that the emphasis here is on the drinks.
Good was ok. Burgers were good quality meat. Waiter forgot our cocktails. And rarely came back to Check on us. We were sat outside and it started raining. The waiter came to ask us if we would like to move inside 5 minutes later after our food was wet. We politely declined and asked for the check.
