Lady J's Soul Food

OMG! This is the most unbelievably delicious soul food! We ordered take out, the Family meal with chicken and pork chops, and two sides. We also ordered additional sides. Mashed potatoes w/gravy, corn bread, beans, yams, mac n cheese and string beans. The food was fresh and hot. Pork chops and chicken were crispy and juicy. The mac n cheese is different than what you would expect, but delicious. All the other sides were phenomenal. The green beans were a bit salty, but no big deal. There were three of us and we ate everything..the only talking at the dinner table was "OMG this is so good"! We couldn't stop eating it was all SO delicious!! My daughter picked up the order and said that the service was excellent and the workers were so kind and friendly. If you are looking for really good down home soul food, then this is the place for you! We will be coming back often!

I like the professionalism.. I like the staff and I love the food.. I would give them a five stars if the music wasn't so loud when you go in, it's so loud sometimes when you order your food you can't even hear or speak to the person at the counter. But overall it's a great place to eat in Pittsburgh with delicious food

So my sister and I and Marie stop by this restaurant called Lady J had never heard of it beforeTried the mac and cheese the greens the yams potato salad fish chicken it was all good. We will definitely be back
