La Yummy Michoacana Ice Cream And More

My daughter and I were coming back from our taekwondo class in Yorkville and she saw the Michoacana sign and ask if we could go. We swung around and went inside. There we met Jorge, one of the nicest people you will ever meet. He was making a hibiscus tea and spoke about it with so much pride we had to try a cup. In fact he spoke with such pride about all their menu items I can't wait to go back and try them all. On here I just realized that they close at 7 and it was way past 7. He could have told us they were closed, but I wouldn't have known by the warm welcome we received.

Terrible!! Corn was not appealing or good. Went in to buy cups of corn for my guest and told they only had it on sticks. They must have not wanted business. They put the corns on a plate and only coated the top with butter, and cheese. The worst corn around. Don’t even bother….

Good ice cream, and the guy behind the counter has the most infectious smile, he made the end of our date night special. We tried a few flavors, shared some laughs, and stayed to eat our delicious treats among the Mexican themed decorum. The music was a bit loud this particular night, but I have hearing damage so I'm not a good judge of that. Affordable pricing, not super cheap but easily worth a couple extra bucks for the good stuff. Still cheaper than Coldstone or most luxury ice cream.
