We were visiting from Phoenix and we decided to come here. It was the best decision we made. The food was so delicious. I ordered chile relleno and cheese enchilada. The flavors were mixed together so well and authentic. Come here if you are in Escondido! You will not be disappointed.
I came to La Tapatia to host a surprise birthday party for my mom. About 20 people total. Throughout the whole planning process David and his team were communicative, friendly, and ready to help. Day of, they were professional as could be and were instrumental in making sure the whole event was fun for us. On top of all that, the food and service was excellent. This is already one of our favorite restaurants and they outdid themselves with this event for my mom. There's a reason this is the oldest restaurant in Escondido! Thanks La Tapatia!
Good service and food. Back to offering the basics of authentic Mexican food is always good. Cool atmosphere and family friendly.
