La Sen Vietnamese Grill

The salmon is crisply grilled and the mango salad underneath adds another highlight to it. The stir fried lemongrass chicken is not heavily sauced but has a great flavor! They beef stew noodles is alright, beef was too chewy and too big of a chunk. In general, I recommend their rice dishes.

Very busy, I take that as a good sign. Greeted in the hosting line, offered a table soon after. Ordered spring rolls for appetizer. The attentiveness of the server was just right. We had combination beef pho, pork and shrimp noodles and tofu clay pot. All said they'd order them again. Will be going back.

I ordered the ginger chicken clay pot. Firstly, the quantity is laughable. Doesn’t even occupy 40% of the shallow, 6 inch diameter to-go container it’s served in. Maybe it’s good though, like their pho... Wrong. It tastes really bad. I’m sure most would say that this is not acceptable. The chicken is of course frozen which is fine. My complaint is that it’s plain bad. Rubbery, like chewing a tire soaked in teriyaki and ginger sauce. I just can not eat it. I like the Pho at La Sen and I will return for that if I’m not blackballed for writing this.
