La Pasadita Taco Shop

My first time here. The inside was clean and inviting. Very comfortable. I got the house special. (Which is Carne asada on waffle fries). It was delicious. I can't wait to come back and try the other unique items on the menu like the chocolate chimichanga. Staff was helpful and friendly. And I received complimentary chips upon my order. Even the salsa bar had a nice variety. Definitely try this place out if you're ever in murrieta. ???? (Update) - so I finally tried the chocolate chimichanga. The way I can describe it, is it's a chimichanga filled with nutella and peanuts topped with coco syrup. Incredibly sweet and rich! Reminded me of a box of goobers candy. I feel like they missed an opportunity with this dish by not giving it some spice or maybe a scoop ice cream or whip cream to help with thinning out the sweetness. I’m very disappointed with this place. I got Birria taco and I couldn’t taste anything. Very bland, extra dry, no flavor and the juice did it absolutely no justice. It felt like all I was eating was a tortilla. Complete disappointment. I couldn’t even finish my food and ended up throwing it away. I was really hoping this place to be good.

Great service. One of the best taco spots around. Great tasting food. Very authentic. The service is great and it's fair priced.
