La Mei Zi Doraville

I like this place. Good Selections of food and drinks. My friend and I tried mapo tofu, salt and pepper shrimp, and beef noodle soup. All of them were delicious. Cooked well with good quality ingredients. Definitely one person one entree place unless you are a heavy eater. Three entree for two people was nearly impossible. The vibe of the place felt cliche: Chinese restaurant. But hey sometimes the classic style is what is nice about Chinese restaurants. It's also in the heart of Doraville. This place should be in your list of places to try for international food.

big servings lol we didn't finished our food. we had shrimp omelet was ok sauce was very sweet. and then pork belly with scallions were savory. pork buns is def yummylicious!!

My service was 5 star, placed a to go order so can't say what the table service was like, however the service from the cashier order section was great. They paid attention to my order, and it was perfect. Had the water braised spicey, Sichuan beef, and it was delicious. A nice mix of flavors, not really a tonne of heat unless you bite into the chillies, but all the other aromatic spices came together really well, complimented with a mix of bak chocolate and bean sprouts, had it with some white rice as well as some pasta with minced pork. Dang, my mouth is still watering the pasta with minced pork was heavenly all the tiny minced pieces of sweet pork over noodle sized, pasta hmmm delicious. Price was fair, paid about $20 for my meal, but it was totally worth it. I can't wait to go back.
