Reviews for la Madeleine

My particular order was forgotten amongst the entire party of other orders, but it was understandable because of the heavy load of customers in the store. The food was good and the staff were helpful. It would be nice for this chain to somehow incorporate a sound reduction system or larger facility to separate tables into quieter dining experience.
Atmosphere was very nice and French music was a beautiful touch. Food very good overall. My potato pancake was stale is only complaint, for sure was not fresh. Everyone working was super friendly. Features: Workers were wearing masks
We bought French onion soup bowl and tomato soup bowl instead of a soup cup as we needed each soup for two people but the bowl looked really small so we thought they made a mistake and called to confirm. The staff member who handed it to us said that a soup cup is 8 ounces while a soup bowl is 12 ounces. We were skeptical because the bowl looks so small and measured it and what do you know, the bowl is actually just 10 ounces. So maybe staff haven't been updated on the new sizes but we now have. We've bought the soup a few times before. We bought it this time again as a family friend was under the weather. The soup quantity now feels like it has reduced while its price has increased.
