We had the lunch special of 3 courses for $25.00. Beautifully arranged plates providing just the right bites for lunch. Beautiful marriage of tastes. The margaritas the best we've tasted. We found a small piece of netting stuck to one of the chips. The waiter quickly replaced everything. Waiter was wonderful!
Been going here for over 40yrs, this place has lost it due to cost cutting corporate ownership, they destroyed an icon of LA...Carnitas are dry and flavorless, tortillas lack the proper texture and taste. Bean are no longer flavorful and you can tell the color of the beans are totally different now. Rice is dry and lifeless now, guacamole changed texture and flavor for the worst, salsa lacking in original flavor. My heart and the hearts of my family are BROKEN, what was once a shining star of L.A. Mexican food heritage is GONE and now turned into Chipotle
The patio seating was nice. Food was fine, but not memorable. I wouldn't go out of my way to eat here, but service was quick and prices were average.
