This place used to be really good back then. But lately it’s become a hit or miss. I placed an order today of chilaquiles verdes, with chicken and no onion. I specifically put no onion in all caps cause I don’t like them. They still put onion and forgot the chicken. Called them to let them know and their response was: well we didn’t charge you for the chicken. If someone is paying to have food a specific way you’d think they’d deliver like so. Definitely not the response anyone wants to be told, not even a sorry. Honestly disappointed since I used to love coming here.
First time we visit lupitas ! We order the queso fundido with chorizo and poblanos peppers uff sooooo good Great portions for 4 people's we also order the green pozole another menu star we also order their fajitas everything was fresh and the veggies were spot on great portions accompanied by hand made corn tortillas the salsas were also awesome and yes they r super spicy if u r not Mexican lol !! ???? micheladas are also great highly recommended our rate is 4 out of 5 starts also no super loud rancheras or mariachi or country Mexican music which made it souch more enjoyable!!!
It was a total disappointment. We've been there before and weren't pleased but we decided to give it another try. We figured, maybe it was just a bad day. So there were go. For starters, the chips were so stale, they I had to ask for a fresh batch. Then My mother and I ordered enchiladas Rojas. First, the food was cold. The sauce was extremely thick and bitter. I couldn't eat it, it was upsetting me stomach. Second, the beans were very dry and tasted old, the rice had no flavor. My grandson had a steak torta, the meat was burned and dry. It had that burned bitter taste. Lastly, the horchata was too milky and very sweet. Even after adding water, it still had too much sugar. I know a lot of people rave about this place but honestly I think it's more for the entertaining and karaoke nights. Vegetarian options: They have vegetarian options. Parking: Parking is terrible. There is a Michoacana ice cream shop about two stores down. They are always busy so you'll have issues finding parking.
