La Frontera Cafe

The food is great. To bad they charged us for 4 meals instead of two when it states on the menu that you have a choice of ground beef, chicken and chorizo. When asked they stated that we made a change in the menu and that is what it costs. Not sure how when it said like .75 to change meats. I asked the server if it would be just a few bucks more and she said yes. Their few dollars was $22. They would not budge on that price and the host was rude about it. We won't go back.

A good classic. Although it's very dated in decor, it's always nostalgic to me. I've been eating at this establishment for over 30 years. The service is always great. The food is satisfactory whenever you craving Smothered Chile Verde burrito with homemade Tortillas. Hits the spot every time.

I grew up in SLC. Now live in Northern California. I come visit Utah usually twice a year for 3-4 days. I honestly eat 3 Smothered Burritos with cheese at least twice or even everyday while I'm there. La Frontera is Awesome!! The smothered burritos are epic, the chips and salsa are great to. I swear even the Dr. Pepper tastes better there. I think the 3500 So. Bangerter location is the ABSOLUTE BEST!! Also 3300 So 1300 E is definitely delicious too.
