La Fonda

The food was great. Cozy little place. However, It could use a bit of an upgrade.

My friend and I were looking for a good Mexican restaurant in Wheatridge when I remembered how wonderful La Fonda was. Family owned which means alot to me.. Also, such delicious traditional Mexican food!! Huge portions! And there is alot of room to be comfortable sitting in a booth or at a table. The atmosphere is very charming and service is wonerful! Don't hesitate to try this great experience. Oh! I almost forgot about the great tasty Margaritas! Parking: There are handicap parking spaces right up infront ot the restaurant. Also a great ramp to accommodate anyone that needs easy access to the entrance. Kid-friendliness: I saw a couple of families there and the staff was very attentive to getting the children's food out extremely quick!! And they were very sweet to the children. That's important to me as I have 6 young grandchildren. Wheelchair accessibility: There is plenty of room for people who are in wheelchairs or use a walker. The restrooms are wheelchair accessible as well.

The food is very good & when I come to Denver, this is the only place I eat. You must try it out.
