La Fonda Mexican Restaurant

The service was great, Food was delicious, margaritas were huge and tasty. We shared a green chili quesadilla and chips and salsa…… and took a green chili burrito and chicken chimichanga home for later….. Margarita was great, 1 really hit the spot. A nice experience overall. Some reviewers said their opinion is the menu is overpriced…..I think it was reasonable for us……we had two huge drinks, one appetizer, and two full meals/entrees and it was 70 for us (would have been 50 without beverages). Plus the rising costs of everything under the sun ???? anyway, couldn’t complain

The service was awesome. The food was just average for us. The chips came out warm but were rather oily. Chunky Salsa was good , also got the spicy one they have but it wasn’t really spicy at all. The guacamole was good. They have lots of options with corn tortillas so good options for gluten free people. Three stars as the food was just average for us. The chicken in the fajitas was rather dry and flavorless.

Have eaten there 3 times in the past 2 months. We love it. The chili rellenos are really good!!!!! If you don’t know what to get try the sampler platter. Allows you try a little bit of everything. The service has always been spot on. Very cordial, quick and accurate. It is a little on the pricey side, but most things these days are so I don’t fault them. The margaritas are really good too! I highly recommend La Fonda! In fact, I think we will go there again now! ????
