La Fonda Latina

The service was a little bit slower than I would expect have at a sit-down restaurant. However the staff were very friendly and helpful. The food was delicious and it tasted like those wonderful home-cooked meals that you get to experience when you go to a friend's house and their mother is cooking a cultural dish from their Homeland. It did not have a fast food cookie cutter feel or taste, but the quality had a consistency that it certainly felt professional in its presentation. I had the arroz con pollo. It was moist and tender and the portion was ample enough to feed perhaps two people for lunch. If you are big eater you will have enough. You could even split that dish between two children.

They were super busy, but we did not feel rushed. I had a salad that was very healthy, but tasted sinfully delicious.

Decent food, better pricing, best location. However, the workers work hard. There are just too few of them. They are overworked and thus, the customer service is terrible. Nice people, friendly if possible, don't get me wrong, but mgmt needs to step in and hire an extra hand or two. Your workers deserve better, so do your customers. Perhaps I just need to find another local.
