La Flor de Michoacán

I grew up in a family owned Salvadorian restaurant. These pupusas take me right back to my childhood. The beans had a smoky and meaty flavor to them, but there was no cheese. It's cash only and an ATM is next door at the smoke shop. No refills on drinks. Two pupusas, rice, beans, and medium horchata ran about 20 bucks after tax and tip. Unlike my Abuelita's hospitality, chips and salsa weren't offered to customers.

So the pupusas near my home went out of business and we could not find a pupusas restaurant that we like. Until we went to La Flor De Michoacan. The pork and cheese is like this mouth watering bite of goodness. By the way I'm dring 30 minutes just to eat it. So you know it's worth it. 3????

Not impressed at all. I ordered the uper nachos & one cheese puppa. The nachos are not as advertised, no fresh real cheese no guac and theres beans in the order (not included nor wanted on my end). Everything tasted very plain/ average just average not quite sure how they have high ratings when theres better actually authentic Mexican restaurants down the street.
