La Esquina del Sabor Restaurant & Bakery

I've eaten from here a few times and I have no complaints. The food always fresh, mid day or close to closing. Last time I went they had extra food and they were about to close so he gave me my order plus threw in an extra tray at no cost. They rather give it away than throw it away he said. That was pretty cool , not many places do that.. ????% ... By the way its not only dominican food. There is food from different countries. D.R , Mexico, P.R, Peru, Columbia and USA... Prices are fair and staff is friendly, patient and on point. I would recommend it to anyone. Try it and let me know what you think ????

We came upon this place by chance and walked away so happy that we did. Walking in we were greeted by an enthusiastic, warm, woman behind the counter who was busy preparing more food for the day. She walked us through the offerings, and each of us ended up with a (very generous) bowl of pork in red sauce (I'm not sure the official name for this), rice, and sweet plantains. It was almost heartbreakingly affordable. The sauce was packed with flavor, the stewed pork was falling apart tender, and the plantains... Well, I could've eaten every last one in the building. Considering they were brand new and opening during COVID, I'm rooting for them to make it so I can eat here again the next time I'm in Allentown.

This place doesn't look fancy but the food and service of the ppl were awesome not from this area but if I was it would be the new spot
