La Catrina

La Catrina, the pizzadilla is a nice addition to Miami's food scene. It's still bourgeois Miami Mexican with absolutely zero heat. La Mulita was a mess to eat, but delicious. Bring wet ones. The Taco's are classic and delish.

I went to this food truck because it had good reviews and it won best taco 2021. I order 2 orders of taco Al Pastor. The typical taco Al Pastor has pork and onions and cilantro. The taco I received had some sort meat that taste like it was marinated in teriyaki sauce onions and cilantro and cheese. To say these tacos were a let down is a huge under statement.

Started going to there new/current location, been here a few times. The steak birria tacos are to die for! Every time it hits the spot! Always craving em! You do gotta wait a bit between ordering and receiving your order especially taco Tuesday as one would expect. The wait is worth it! Amazing tender juicy and flavorful tacos w/ a side of consomé! You got the hot steak, inside a crispy cheesy taco shell with a little hint of the cold onions and cilantro, and dunking it in the consomé, everything comes together perfectly! 10/10 recommend!! Been too, 3 different spots, so far this is my top pick for birria tacos! Best part, they are open everyday, no more waiting for that one day a week!
