La Casa del Mofongo

This was my first time having Puerto Rican food and I have to say it was really underwhelming. The carne frita with mofongo was very dry and tasteless. Feels like I was chewing on beef jerky but with no flavor and you’re going to be in for a jaw work out if you order this. The chicken with mofongo was definitely my favorite. The chicken came off of the bones easily and was decently seasoned. I also ordered some fried yucas and they were very dry and hard. For 1.1k reviews with decent rating, I expected the food to be very appetizing and well made but I wasn’t able to finish what I ordered even though I usually have a really big appetite. They were also out of flan and tres leches for dessert. The server was pretty nice but did take a while to come and collect payment when we were done. Honestly I wouldn’t recommend this place if you want to try Puerto Rican food.

Awesome Puerto Rican and Dominican food. Comida sabrosa!

This is the best Dominican ???????? food in the area. The mofongo is seasoned well, moist, and tasty. The portion sizes are sharable abd prices are very reasonable. The service is well and the staff are very friendly. Parking is free on Saturday and Sundays. Features: All staff wore their masked correctly.
